I freakin love that place. I've hunted archery and rifle out there. And seen 2/3 biggest deer I've ever seen while hunting out there.
We were on a rifle management hunt 2 years ago and stalked this guy to about 13 yards for s/g

**** he's a good one! What section was he in? A guy that's out here now has hunted here the past 5 yrs and has showed me some good one from dogleg , shorty, and o.x.

Behind the Ranger house on Ox creek is a good spot to put a ground blind on the trails that parallel the creek on either side of creek, have seen some big bucks there in the past!

Well we saw a ton just a little too far, but some standby guys got about a 19in 8 in sisk pen.

They got an 18 1/2in inside 8 point that scored 125 in I believe... they drove by earlier with it and I only got a quick look.

Well went out this morning and blanked... my father in law saw a spike and some turkey, now we've ate lunch and catching a little nap before we try again tonight but we're gonna inch a little close than we were last night.

My father in law passed on a shooter 8 point because it was headed my way but it never made it... had a young 6 point within 10 yds, and some big doe at 40 I passed hoping the buck would show.
