          I had awesome luck with the smallest chrome rattletrap I could find.

              Thank y'all for the info. I'm gonna stock up on lures for sure. Done plenty of catfishing over the years. Never did fish for white bass for some reason. I plan on changing that this year.

                    Simple 1/16-1/8oz lead head, and a curly tail or little tube 1.5"-2", will also do the trick. I often rig them in tandem about 16" apart. And sometimes catch two at a time. Sometimes a crappie on one, and sandie on the other too.
