Default Cooked bacon Pieces

Has anyone tried putting cut up fried bacon in their hamburger when processing it? I have done it to hamburger patties before I cooked them but never mixed it in with the raw meat before packaging and freezing.

I did it with some elk this past summer to give it some fat. I wish I hadn't. It overwhelms the flavor when cooking something other than burgers.

I've done many times after ... when making hamburger patties up. Could you just add bacon ends mix and grind it ?

This would be for burgers only. I have made it with ends and pieces before and just ground it. I am seeing if COOKED slices of bacon cut up and put in would be Bueno...

Cooked one of the best burgers I've ever eaten the other day out of elk & bacon.

Its the elk&bacon tacos and lasagna that's hard to eat.
