This is the Official Dallas Cowboy Thread I think?

This is the place for us COWBOY FANS to... do some sunshine pumping, have positive vibe feelings, do some band wagon riding, blue star wearing, Romo loving, Dak loving, hoping to win the division, win a playoff game, win a super bowl, hoping to win 9-10 games ???? and allowing life time FANS to come and unite.
Let us enjoy our up and down years, goofy ownership, Art museum of a stadium and all the other things that make us Cowboy fans.

Start a Houston Texan thread if there is not already one and enjoy your teams trials and tribulations. And stay over there!

Wait that would be to boring....carry on ALL.

AIN'T FOOTBALL SEASON GREAT!

It's Pre-Season, It's Pre-Season, It's Pre-Season, It's Pre-Season...

Guys, it doesn't matter, let's talk in 8 weeks. September 11 vs Bears is where it begins. Enjoy a 4-0 pre-season, seriously, enjoy it. I like the fact that OB is trying to instill a winning culture around our players / staff. I am with him, if we are going to play a game, we might as well win it. Take away that awful Weeden pick-6 and we win 28-10, we crushed them. Our 3rd and 4th stringers are better than theirs, who cares?

QB play drives this league, and it was blatantly obvious that Savage and Weeden were better than Showers. If I were Dallas I'd be looking for someone else to back-up Prescott, heaven forbid something happens to him. But guess what... that doesn't matter either. We paid Osweiler $72 million to be be our guy, Savage & Weeden better not see the field, unless we are blowing somebody out. If one of those guys start, we are in trouble because it means our $72 million dollar man is worse than we thought or injured.

So enjoy the good showing in these past 3.5 weeks, but don't talk crap. It is as bad as Aggie fans who talk garbage to UT or anyone in the SEC. Do something, don't claim 1939, and then we can talk. UT, LSU, Bama... They have pelts on the wall.

Enjoy your weekend guys... I'll start posting on September 11.

As long as Sanchez never sees the field. Lol. The philly trade still has me shaking my head. They have no idea who the QB will be this season with a week to go now. Basically puts them another year away. The statement that Wentz is ready once healthy cause of what he's done since he's been there is funny. He's played in one preseason game and got hurt!

I honestly thought Butler had beat him for the #2 spot. Both him and Dunbar did not have any awareness of the time in the final drive. Dunbar runs to the middle of the field and Williams fails to go out.

I'm sick of Beasley as well. I swear he butters his hands before every drive.

Terrence Williams is an idiot. Dunbar also cut up field instead of going out of bounds. And I am tired of hearing how great Dez is. He is a number 2 receiver. He may have the size but not the hands and has a 10cent head.

On the replay, Dez is telling Williams to go out of bounds. He knows that much, lol

He struggled but had some good runs. Mainly his TD run. It looked good and he had good vision to find that hole.

But, with that offensive line, it was mostly underwhelming.

One thing a good RB does is 1-on-1 they beat that guy. So, in theory, they make at least one guy miss, break a tackle, or get yards after 1st contact. This is what Murray did. Morris did that today. You see Zeke get hit, and he stops. It's one game, and he MAY get better, but today Morris was the better runner, and Garrett failed to see that or execute on it.

He dropped two catchable balls. One of which could have been a touchdown. Because of his speed, most of his catches are not contested. If you mean Beasley catches most uncontested passes, then I agree, but the consistence is not there and it is an insult to Witten to pair them as "bright spots". Witten is a Hall of Fame TE. Beasley is a #3 WR for Dallas, and probably struggling to make a lot of other teams rosters.

Dak looked sharp today. That's something to be optimistic about for Cowboys fans.

The stalls in the redzone aren't good. That's partially on him too. Gotta find a way to get touchdowns.

But he will get better too. But, he already looks the part after 1 game.

Dak missed on a lot of throws today. Even some of the caught balls were not put in a good place for the receiver. Our offensive line which is supposed to be the best in the nfl got owned in the fourth quarter.

Witten drops passes and makes bad plays too.

You get on Beasley but not Dez? He was pretty much not even in the game

Ummmmm... Okay. He wasn't doubled every play. Every #1 WR gets doubled. The Giants basically played man coverage all day.

That crap is horrible in certain spots on the field for sure. It's better than the old stadium though. They had that big azz blind spot moving around throughout the day.

Dez played subpar... He should have made the touchdown catch. Williams might as well sit so another receiver can be looked at. Dak play good for a rookie.
