She did blood work for him a couple weeks ago and the nurse called about an elevated glucose level which we new ad out due to the radiation. Well she asked the nurse about the tumor marker reading and she said it's not a problem it's normal. Well she told the nurse to double check because she has liver cancer and it's not normal it's very high. The nurse's reply was no its normal, let me call the Dr. She didn't get him in time. He called today and said he wants to redo the test to verify results but if so her cancer may be in remission. Some body tell me there's no such thing as miracles. I want to thank all you guys for your prayers and support through this. We're not out of the woods yet but this is the first good news we've gotten yet. I'll let y'all know when we find out more. I took the Trophy Wife to the boat show and walked her around to show her off this evening. Had a good time, the rest of the family showed up too. Man those new boats are expensive. I think I'll keep the one I got.

Never put cams in the forest but plan on it next week if I can find d a way to secure.....I understand that hiding them well is the best way to do it. But what else are y'all doing? Lock boxes? Brands? Any pics of y'all's set up?

Are y'all going as far as camoing y'all's stuff like gluing sticks to it etc?

I know there's a risk no matter what I do it may be gone when I go back but just looking for reccomendations to decrease that risk

I always bring a climbing stick and put them up about 9 or 10 ft. It's always a risk but it's worked for me.

This helps. I've camo'ed some, but I usually chain them to the tree with a lock. I've also placed one camera and had another camera looking at the first a short distance away and up in the trees pointing back down. They may get one, but I'll catch them with the other..

I've also placed the down on the ground and under a fallen tree peeking out. There is always a risk.

I've got some great news. My wife redid the blood work earlier this week and the Dr called this morning. The second test came back better than the first. Her tumor marker number is normal. They want to do imaging immediately to see if the tumor is even there anymore. They are going to get her back on the transplant list immediately also. What this means is she no longer has cancer.
The medical center downtown said she wouldn't live to see the new year. They said that there was no cure and no hope. There was nothing they could do for her.

David, there just aren't any words that will make this difficult time any better.

The only bit of good news I can give is that time heals all wounds. This wound will sting, but with time it will heal.

I can't even imagine this happening.
