I used to buy a couple of dozen C&D tacos but there are much better places now. They burnt down awhile back and have relocated and trying to rebuild. I actually prefer Stripes over C&D but there are couple of small stores that have killer tacos and great chili sauce.

I was just trying to start a thread that would rival the peeing in a bottle thread from a few weeks back. And yes slow day and ready for deer season

They are getting ready to build a brick & mortar location in the shopping center where the new HEB is on Eagle drive in Mont Belvieu…...Right now, it is a (very busy) taco truck that is in the parking lot of Iguana Joe's in Mont Belvieu. It is owned by the same family that owns Iguana Joe's, El Toro, and Gringos.

Right now I believe they are only open Monday - Friday from 05:00 until 09:00

I'm a self proclaimed Taco Connoisseur fyi I'd take a fajita and egg from Exxon on Sens and L over C&D any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
That being said our mechanical dept would trade their first born for C&D

I hate to say it, but C & D are not what they once were...
Ate C & D every day from about '91-'97....
Their barbacoa was hard to beat...

I forget which kid took over or something, but they cut cost & it was never the same...

Rositas on Decker drive is my favorite around here. I ate about a million tacos from Cadillac Jacks on the 3 cat squat we just did. Not a big fan, but hey they are free.

C&D's just isn't anything like it used to be. We rarely get tacos from there these days.
