We had a great trip to Florida earlier in the summer. A good part of that was in the Gulf. Here is a short clip of a shark that Nathan caught but we have no idea what it was. Would love the thoughts of the green screen shark experts. Thanks!

Looks like a small spinner shark

Hard to tell from the video but it had a pointy snout like a blacktip but I couldn't see any black tips on the fins. My guess is finetooth though it didn't look as gray as most finetooth sharks.

I know it. We got him close to the kayak three or four times and i was grabbing his tail but I just couldn't hold on to it to get him in the boat.

I think it is a spinner as well. My ten year old wore out the blacktips and juvenile bulls in Destin last week in the surf at night. I think it really cut down on swimmers the following days. :-)
