What caliber would you get?

Primary purpose would be general deer/pig hunting, maybe an exotic hunt here and there. Probably not many shots over 400 yds.

I currently have:

.223
.243
25-06
30-30
.308

I'm wanting something a little different. I know I got all the major categories covered with what I got. I was thinking about either a 7mm mag/270 WSM for flat shooting long range or something for more close range brush gun like a 450 bushmaster or 45-70 although I can use my 30-30 for that now.

Also considering the 6.5 CM although I'm not sure I see that big a difference from the 25-06 but I'm considering it also. I've never shot one just heard great things about them.

Love my 270WSM. Ammo can be a little hard to find if you’re in a pinch though from what I’ve noticed.

.280 Ackley Improved. Nearly 7mag ballistics without the recoil, can shoot standard .280 if needed, and fits the bill for "something different". Not sure on how many factory offerings there are in the AI, but it's not hard to convert a standard 280. Will definitely be my next bolt action rifle purchase.

.300 WSM- great, flat shooting gun in 30 caliber. Kicks a little more than a 30-06 but not much and less than a 300 mag.
