About how long will ducks usually keep in the freezer before you can't mount them anymore?

If they are wrapped up well they will keep for a pretty good while. Just make sure they aren't freezer burnt.

How would you know if they are freezer burnt?

look at the fleshy parts like the legs and around the eyes. If they look/feel leathery then they are probably freezer burnt
