Hello my cousin soon wants to go hunting with us. We do not hunt deer just little piggies. Would there happen to be any North central Texas public hunting locations? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes you can hunt hogs at all these locations, but at grapevine and lewisville you have to get a free permit from the ACOE office, you can alos hunt Ray Roberts but it is a WMA and requires the Type 2 License to hunt on the WMA, LBJ is okay as far as hog hunting but you need to stop by the LBJ office off of 287 and 380. They have a map that shows all the units you can hunt and the way to access them. Well good luck, let us know how you do.Comment

Could probably find a bunch on the corp land around texoma. I know the refuge up there is infested with em, corp land is next to it in lots of locations.Comment
