I say cottonmouth...a young one at that. Markings are too jagged for me to call it a copperhead

Only pic I got...it's not mine...buddy I know killed it..he says it's a copperhead

Copperhead. Juveniles will have a green tipped tail, you can see that one is losing it's green but it's still visible

Thought the bell shapes on the sides wouldn't be so jagged..and the "dots" throwing me off.

And I'm bad color blind so that doesn't help...lol

That would make it tough. The coloration makes it easy to identify them

I just got time to really look and at second glance I think it's a juvenile Cottonmouth. Their colors are alot brighter at times when they're young and get darker as they get older. The side blotches make me think that. Just my opinion....could be wrong.
