After work yesterday Riley and I met Jackie at the dock to do a little striper fishing. We had some money baits and decided to try to target an area that usually holds one or two big fish. We drop the baits and strolled along. Usually you get one maybe 2 opportunities. Well we had one on but he got off after a short fight. We stuck around for a little while longer and came up with nadda. We made a move and set up a drift across a flat. First drift hit one decent fish. it was starting to get late and we decided to come back around and drifted it again. 10 minutes into the drift it was game on. for the next 30 minutes it was non stop action. We had multiple triples and quads and at one time we had all 6 rods go off. Not sure how many we actually caught but it was in the 20-30 range. Sure is fun when it gets crazy like that. Only had time for one pic. All but one was released.

Looks like a good trip was had.
I just spent several days on LBJ and thought about making a trip up there but didn't want to commit the time to it.
Had plenty of fun with the ditch pickles until the wake surfers would hit the water each morning.Comment
