    Question about cattle leases...

Quick question for anyone on the green screen...Does anyone know the going rate for cattle grazing leases in the South/Central Texas region? Thank you for your help in advance!

I would say $15-$20 would be a good ballpark for decent grazing.

          10 an acre seems cheap.

Would take 25 min for me to deal with cows on my place lol

              The prices above are yearly.

You can also lease on a per head per day price.

Wait so if I have 50 acres I can lease that is only a 100 bucks a year to lease it? Am I coming up with the total amount wrong?

                        You forgot a zero....it would be a 1000 at 20 an acre.

I think the cost goes up or down depending on the pasture conditions if its improved pasture with good fences u will pay more if its just native grass with poor fence
a lot of times the land owner makes a deal that if you do weed control and repair fence
they will give you a cut on the price.

Honestly thats not even worth my time for a cattle lease. I'd rather lease to a hunter for more money.
