They had it in their mind that they were going to inflict pain, punishment and fear on the populace.
This. No amount of laws will stop these people. I'm not going to give up my freedoms and subject myself to more BS just to "feel" safe. Now Do I think things could be done about who we are letting in? Yes. I think the entire immigration system as a whole needs an overhaul.

I just heard on the radio, the jihadist was allowed into the U.S. through a lottery system. That warms my heart.....

Yeah attacks from people like this guy are the most frustrating because they actually are preventable. Why we feel the need to be the world's dumping ground is beyond me.

News reports are that the driver / killer is refusing to talk to investigators. I would suggest cutting off pain medications...

He's laid up all comfy in a hospital bed, being given the best medical treatment the world has to offer, and using the incredible justice system of this great country to not incriminate himself. All after he killed 8 people.....because this country is the great evil and he hates it.

Why in the world is it that police in some instances choose to unload up to 21 shots on an unarmed citizen..but then in this instance all they do is wound him?

I HIGHLY doubt any one would even hint at the idea of an indictment against the officers if they made this Islamic loser mince meat.

Well, we all know this much to be true: Nurses can dawdle, they don't always respond right away when a patient punches the call button - then there's shift changes and mistakes made with communications and with proper medications. **** happens.
In between, he might just decide to get kinda chatty. Probably, he did it without any help, but it's the authorities' job to make sure. And meanwhile, who really effing cares if he's hurting? I expect a belly wound could be quite painful...

Quote:
Schumer’s diversity visa plan was included in the House-approved “Family Unity and Employment Opportunity Immigration Act of 1990” when it was combined with a proposal by a Democratic from Boston. The resulting “Schumer visa” measure was included in the completed Immigration Act of 1990, which also raised the annual inflow of legal immigrants up from 500,000 up to 700,000. The bill was signed by then-President George H.W. Bush.

The diversity visa program offers green cards to 50,000 lottery applicants each year. Lottery winners undergo a State Department interview and health check, and can then bring their spouses and minor children to the United States and get them on a five-year track to citizenship.

Once a winner and a spouse become citizens, they can import their parents, their in-laws and their children, plus the parents of their in-laws, such as the winner’s spouse’s sister’s husband’s parents. In turn, the relatives can later become citizens and import their relatives. The chain-migration process does not set any skill tests for admission, and so delivers a growing flow of unskilled and uneducated — and often ill, elderly and retired migrants — to the nation’s extensive welfare system.

So would the left/media be guilty of terrorism for pushing a false Russia narrative? Not honoring the results of the elections?

You think trump would sign anything Schumer placed in front of him?
Did Obama sign anything Sessions placed in front of him?

Can we have a bit of personal accountability please?

Own it. Bush signed it.

Right, but I think his point was it was stuck IN a bill. A lot of legislation gets passed like that. "hey you want this bill to make it to your desk? Great, but in order to do that we are putting this in it. We either get this or the bill doesn't get there."

In an effort to accurately assign accountability to responsible parties, are you willing to admit Obama's and H. Clinton's culpability in the Benghazi Consulate attack in 2012? After all, we are discussing terrorism.

Everyone went on their lefty media rant

Yes four ppl died in Benghazi

Because the Niger incident and many others like it aren't romantic enough.

Hero worship created by Hollywood and those that have some misplaced guilt for not serving and wish they had. Not to get off topic but the same thing with Chris Kyle Day, why they would give one troop a day all to himself is beyond me. Memorial Day, thanks.

When you add a caveat, it discounts everything you stated before it. The Benghazi dead were lauded because their deaths were a direct result of an inept administration. Or, worse yet, a complicit one.

That said, why are you giving Chuck Schumer a pass on this? Line item veto is not an option at this time nor then. Are you saying GHW Bush (as bad as he was) would not have stricken that measure from the Bill? Really?

Where is old Chucky with the crocodile tears? He had plenty of tears to cry when Muslims were temporarily inconvenienced from entering our country to vet the ones that do these acts out of the mix. Where are his tears now that 8 of his constituents were murdered by one his policy by products?

He's employing the newest leftist strategy of radio silence when circumstances fall outside their narrative. The most dangerous place in the World is being between Chucky and a TV camera yet, he's nowhere to be found.

I'm not giving Chuck a pass.
I'm holding the most senior person in charge accountable.
You have younger siblings?
Your parents ever leave you in charge of them while they are away?

If younger sibling does something stupid doesn't the patent come down....

Nevermind
The Buck stopped with Bush
Bush needed to work to have that removed.
He didn't
It passed
27 years later 8 people are dead because of it

This is the problem
Instead of working with me to find a solution all you want to do is bicker and fight

Hey what's your name, sister?
Want to make sure it's not next to mine on my marriage certificate.

Sister??? That's the path you want to travel? I doubt it sincerely.

I responded to your assertion which is 1000% more than you have ever done on this forum. I don't run from it. Bickering? I pointed out your wildly inconsistent favoring of the left and you don't like it so, you label it as "bickering". That's called debate. Liberals cannot grasp the concept. It is a truism if there ever was one. In the end, every successive President could be culpable for not fighting to remove it as well. Correct?

You purposefully missed the entire point which is standard operating procedure for you. The point was raised by Ironman that the line item veto would permit greater freedom to omit such idiotic legislation. So, if said lottery bill was tied to your tax cuts, would you readily forego your tax cut because of the lottery legislation? I dare you to say yes.

It's all the libs have. It's their go-to. Usually, they don't go back a full generation but part and parcel.

Maybe Bush gave him the Cop-her-feel.

Because trump tweeted it was schummer's fault.
But once I looked into that program/bill it was GHWB that signed it.
It wasn't a Dem bill that got that program ushered in

So trump goes blasting Dems for something the GOP signed into being.

I just don't like misinformation.
That's disingenuous.

If you can't win with facts then you're a liar and I don't deal with you.

No double standards either.
We can both be wrong but let's be truthful at all times

I dare you to say yes.

.
Nope
But I wouldn't cry about the program neither
Those 8deaths paid for our tax cuts then
And only one of the 8 were American.
Seven were tourist

Yep. It's sad.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!! This is the funniest and most dilusional thing you have written on TBH. "If you can't win with facts....", you're the biggest fact-dodging hypocrite on this subforum. When you are faced with facts, you do like standard libs do and divert.

Hell, while we're at it, let's rehash the Spanish-American War and its implications on modern society. If we're going to debate random history, let's go all the way back to say...Adam and Eve. Try this instead; stay focused on the issue of terrorism and who committed it. Bad guys did. Not GWB or GHWB.

You may go now.
