Anyone use the Eliminator feeder plate on their feeders?
Trying to decide if it will stand up to a bear. For some reason whether it was a late season bear or coons my feeder went through 200 pound of corn in les than a month from Dec into Jan. That should have lasted longer only spinning twice a day for 2 seconds each. Thanks to the cam having an issue with the 32 gig card it didn't take any pics of the culprit.
We have been using the eliminator plates for awhile. In my opinion I wouldn't run a feeder without them. No need for a cage so your feed actually gets scattered out, we have replaced a couple over the years but you can get about 4-5 years out of one before we have to mess with it. In two years of hunting in bear country we had one get bent up by a bear.
