Default Love this wood on a knife

Spalted Maple with a knot; it did have some pits and separation but I filled them with epoxy I just had to use it. I love the way it turned out, It's going to be one heck of a knife; I don't have a secondary bevel on it, it basically flat ground to zero. 60 HRC at the hamon edge.

I love using wood like that. It always turns out so unique. I also like those tables and stuff that have the knots, checks, and other defects that are filled with epoxy. Really gives it character.

Awesome knife.

That's pretty, alright. I had some spalted pecan recently that had some cracks in it that the cactus juice didn't fill, so I filled them with superglue.

Next time Sam use some Epoxy with a drop of black paint.. I have the feeling super glue is going to dry out and crack over time.

Default I may add this knife to my line.

I really like this one; very practical. This was before I buffed out the tung oil.
I may just keep it.. but then again probably not.

Nice, but you won't keep it. Someone will want it and you'll think that you can always make you another one but then you won't have the spare time to do that either. Don't ask me how I know this!
