TPWD Draw Hunt Points

I found out today from a reliable source within the wildlife division that there is discussion about using a multiplier on the points. that's about all we can hope for. they sure are not going to let go of all the $$ they are making by letting everyone put in for every hunt available.

I really wish they would do this.

They need to add a "point only" option for those looking to accumulate points but don't want to or can't hunt any particular year. Would help the draw odds a bit too.

Squareing will not help out much at all. Maybe in the beginning but after a few years not so much. Just look at Montana. You just end up with a bunch of people with a bunch of points with the same odds as if they were not squared. I agree that it could be better but squaring will not help that much in the long run.
