Default Box Blind Build

Here goes nothin. I finally broke down and decided to start on a box blind build. These are the plans that I have drawn up. Feel free to use them. Gonna start on it this weekend. Any tips before I start

That's going to be one nice looking blind.

Gonna be a really nice blind. Unless your going to build it to where you can break it down into pieces, make sure you can get to it with a tractor cuz that sucker is gonna be heavy.

The only thing I’d say is that if o were to be building another stand I would really be tempted to go a full 8’ cube. You can still do your front the way you designed, but man we hunt out of a 5.75’x 7’ blind and it is just right for one bow hunter and one gun hunter to really have room to stretch. If you’re going for comfort and style, go as big as you can. It would also be cool to have a full 8’x8’x8’ for potentially sleeping in and hunting pigs with a light in the middle of the night

Tips...it's always smaller than you expect inside and always heavier than you expect!

Buy one. I built an 8x7Ē blind last summer that ended up costing me approx $3k in materials. It was a fun project but for about $500 more I could have just bought one, deployed it at my lease and avoided sweating my a** off in my garage all summer long as I worked on it evening and weekends. Do a search on here and you should find the pics I posted.
