Anybody familiar with HOME TITLE LOCK?

Last week I saw a tv new station story where they interviewed a former FBI agent who now works for this company & also started hearing radio ads this week in the DFW area.
For $10/month they protect your home title from fraud...they explained that someone can change names on the title & then start applying for large loans & ruin your life

Is there really home title fraud issues?
Or is this just a creative scare tactic to make money off homeowners?

Homes do not have titles. If someone files a fraudulent deed on your house, they would have to forge your name and a notary signature/stamp.
