Just a wall?
A contractor is probably going to use subs, he may do the frame work and sub out the sheetrock, texture and paint. Nonetheless he's a middle man and has to make his money too and that's a pretty simple project.
I would look into some self employed handymen that can turnkey the whole thing in a couple days.
