Doe with longbow

First trad kill for me. Took her with my 68" longbow I bought from (Restless)
Awesome memory. Has always been a goal for me in my mind.
Smacked her in the shoulder. She went straight down and could not get up. Only got one lung so I had to finish the job with the knife.

Question - Was your first shot not in the spine? I have never seen a one lung shoulder shot drop one like you describe?
