Reversing a Conservation Easement

Has anyone ever reversed or eliminated a conservation easement from the previous land owner? A realtor told me its possible but tough.

I don't believe it is possible. A few years ago I dealt with one on a large tract of land. Purchased by an investor with some power and alot of money. They couldn't get it removed. I figure if they couldn't no one could.

I rekon youd have to know the right people and have deep pockets.

Don’t think it’s possible. Ask an attorney to be sure. Don’t take realtors word.
