    Activities while camping?

I'm taking the family camping this weekend at a lake. Is there anything you can think of to entertain a 6 year old girl that doesn't include electricity?

Looking for some ideas. So far I have some fishing planned and a small hiking trail nearby.

    Thanks

Help her make a walking stick.
Find one she likes, then carve stuff on it by the fire.
Put her name on it, or a design, whatever she wants.

Frisbee and bikes. Teach her to build a fire and safely use a knife.

Nothing like a good walking stick

As mentioned, fire and a long stick. Heck I'm in my 50s and I'll stay entertained for hours playing in the fire.

Treasure hunt. Hide items, make a map, put lines for each step you have to take to find the items.

Depending on the lake, if it is in a state park there are typically geocache locations that you can try to find.

Any and all of the above as long as your doing it with her. Girls love having their daddy’s attention. Doesn’t have to be complicated. Raised 2 and helped raise another 2. Now I have 2 granddaughters and enjoying them outside also. Have fun and never take this time for granted.

Glow sticks at night. I know he's younger, but my son thought it was the coolest thing, and slept with 2 or 3 of them under his pillow once we got them out lol.

Ive got 3 kids 13, 9 and 7 and we do a lot of camping as a family. I think the most fun my kids have is just unstructured playing. It seems like when they are outdoors they can easily find something to do with little to no direction from me or my wife.

Games like corn hole or horse shoes ( I think I saw some kid sized ones somewhere) or washers. Water toys at the lake.

Buy a cheap bow and arrow set, first.
Look for the campfire-colors in Academy and the like.
Gotta make s’mores and tell a story.
Binos for stars and the moon.
Of course learning to cook for yourself over a campfire.
Them helping to set up the tent. Learning.
