Default What Are You Buying This Year With New Tax Laws

So far I have hired a new employee, bought 2 nice laptops, and an expensive file cabinet.

May buy another company truck too.

What are you buying??

Regrettably nothing based on or predicated on tax changes.....yet. I am lauching an integrated order online system . Start a slow retro-fit of a location. Possibly hire 5 - 10 more folks unless technology can fill the majority of that need.

2017 was a great year for my company. Way better than the previous years.

I'm not planning on any major purchases unless I have to.

I'm hoping the extra money will cover a small portion of the rising out of pocket expenses that Obama's care has caused.

I'm not trolling I'm generally curious.
Why can't I know what business is booming so maybe I can invest?
Other day someone posted something about stripper wells.
I googled it up.

You think Oscar will sell more hot boudain balls because Trump is in office or this tax plan went through?

I doubt it.
But I think Halliburton's business will increase with Trump in office.

Gosh. Not everything is trolling.
They are general questions.

Not to mention ceos of the Fortune 50 said they won't hire more employees or do any additional investing just because of this tax plan.

So it's interesting for him to take on what I estimate to be another $100k in business expenses because of this tax plan.

It's curiosity.
Not tying to pick fights.

Why would you doubt it? The tax laws will save my business money which will in turn help me cover the cost of my employees health insurance.

Hoping my tax bill will be closer to NET ZERO!!! That's a win lol. I do hope to see the many small and larger business owners thrive, when they do they hire more, pay more, spend more and we all benefit from that. When we have more money flowing around everyone benefits somehow.

It is now a Viet owned place.
I never asked him what happened and why he let go of that location.

I'm just curious about business.

How did Jersey Mike's grow up like it did.

My company had a good year, and our orders on our most profitable products have doubled for '18. Optimism is through the roof in my industry. You can feel it. When Obama was elected everything just tanked for a while; there was no confidence about the future. We were forced to go out and hustle different markets---and restructure how our sales staff is paid so they'd be financially inclined to do that. When Trump was elected it was like flipping a dang switch. You could see customers not only relax but get excited about the future. Orders are rolling in.

I can buy me and the wife a Chipotle burrito every working day for lunch for all of 2018 with my estimated tax break.

You are free to pay more so you cant have the "free" burritos. PM me I can show you how to pay more this tax season.

Set an example as a great Patriot and continue to pay more.

I for one will enjoy the tax cuts as long as I can. I dance a jig when Washington passes a spending cuts bill.

Not sure that my company or I will see a huge difference, but if we see any increase in funds, my goal is to horde it until I need it. My business is a pass through and in a service industry, so we may see some benefit but it probably won't be anything too awfully significant. I won't know for sure until taxes come due.

Not buying anything extra because of it, but hoping it will offset the increase in health insurance premiums.

I'm going to buy another business. Started a new one in '13. Started a new one in '15. Bought one in '16. Bought one in '17. Looking for another one or two right now. I like this entrepreneur stuff. It's like jumping off a cliff while sewing together your parachute.
