    Reflections of 2017s hunts

2018 is here! Getting western apps ready and looking over maps, and enjoying the fruits of my 2017 season! Going to post a few LDPs of me and the wifes season. Other then doing some land shopping, no hunts until April........ so depressing!

September was more or less helping buddies hunting elk. No elk were harmed, and things slowly shifted to whitetails in Nebraska.

before hitting Neb. we stopped up in Wy for lopes. If you look close, the white dot is the buck dead in his bed.

after the lope, (buddy had a buck and two doe tags that were also filled that day) we ran back to the house to take care of meat. The following day we headed to Nebraska, shortly after getting in the blind a doz or so does came by. 30 yard shot and 40 yards later she was down.

After the doe we watched to the 10 in the trail cam pic, off in the distance. The all of a sudden we one of the nice 8s entered the field. 45 yard shot 80 yard recovery!
