Just wanted to let all of the out of towners coming to Del Rio to secure their valuables. Leave them at home or in your camp site or hotel room.
On 12/27 a law enforcement officer hunting in area 5 had his vehicle broken into and several valuable items were stolen. His vehicle window was broken with a tire iron. The perps were successful even though the officer made an atempt to make it to his vehicle as he witnessed the theft taking place.

There is no safe place anymore!Sorry for his loss - even worse he witnessed it and couldn't stop it. You would think a thief would be deterred from a situation that is guaranteed to include firepower, but I guess these methheads don't care!
