Default Mr Buddy Heater Deal - Academy

Just saw these in Mckinney for anyone interested. I believe others locations honor these prices if not already displayed

Perfect timing. I just chunked one in the trash that would keep the pilot light lit when you went to turn it up.

To use while you sleep it might get the tent too warm.
I used mine several times this year during hunting season in my tent.( I sleep all night with it off then about 30 -45 minutes before I get up I just reach over and pop it on) Left one of the ceiling vents open and the side windows ever so slightly open. No problem at all and it sure will heat up a tent.

I've got one similar, not sure if it is the same model, in one of my stands and love it.

Are these safe enough for a 30' RV? Every dang one of the plug in heaters seem to trip when least expected. Is this one fan forced air. Walmart has one on sale for $100 that says it has fan forced air and safe for indoors??

I buy one of these every time they're on sale. I have 4. I'm not buying another.

1 is in my Krivo
1 is reserved for taking to S. Texas
1 is just... a backup?
1 dual tank one stays in my bathroom at the house

I was gonna pick one up to use in my travel trailer because we donít have electricity and I donít want to run a big generator all night for one heater. They have a Low Oxygen Sensor now and are advertised for safe indoor use.

We used ours tent camping twice last year. No issues. Has shut off if it tips over and O2 sensor. Trick is to buy the long hose that goes with it so you can use a big tank.

Funny that this thread popped up. Was recommending one of these to a friend and googled it and saw the NT price. Problem is, their actual website doesn't show the sale.

So friend goes to Academy and tells me they are on sale there for the 59.99 price. So guess who was at academy at 7:59 in Tomball this morning... this guy.

Now I have one to keep out at the lease in the cabin and no more driving it back and forth "just in case"

As far as tents go... I use them to warm them up when I am awake (before bed and in the morning.) They warm up a tent FAST! I do the same in my small cabin as well. I wouldn't sleep with it on even with the 02 sensor and trip sensor. If you were to really need to run it at night... I'd get a backup C02 monitor and make sure it is plenty far away from flammables (which is just about everything given how hot that thing gets.)
