Wouldn't count on it. Academy close to me had a returned kayak that had some bad rash on it and would only drop it down 10 percent.

I'd say that's on the factory for not coating with beeswax or something...same thing would happen in backyard

I bought my smoker from Academy. It was one of the ones they kept outside. Got it half off because of light rust. Fired that sucker up, got it hot and rubbed it with oil. Looks good as new now.

All it needs is a little love and a nice talk with the manager. 50% off I say!

I wouldn't buy one even with a discount... that's Academys in house brand Outdoor Gourmet, stuff is generally pretty poor quality and thin material.

I have a over sized cast iron frying pan @ hunt camp. It gets rusted constantly.

Canít wash it and leave it to dry. Gotta wash it then coat it with olive oil and hang it.

Washing cast iron negates the point of cooking with cast iron. Heat it, wipe it down good, add a little extra coating if needed, then put it up. Then reheat and wipe down before the next use.

I'm guessing it's a flattop? A little bacon grease and heat and you're good to go.
