I love the fact that not one person here said anything derogatory about posting a pic of the head inside out. Go TBH! I try to squeeze in at least a weekend of long range headshots on does out in the wheat fields.

The 280 bbl is the only one we have. Was thinking about getting a 308 bbl because I have another 308 with plenty of ammo...but man that 280 is a very sweet round.

Regular old Core-Lock ammo. Federal maybe? Lol. I just buy the stuff from Walmart and let em fly.

I've hunted game with the Remington Corelocked ammo for years. Can't say I've ever had an animal go further than 100 yards after a well placed shot.

Typically they go down within sight.

As far as blood trails go, I haven't really paid much attention to them because I didn't need to.

The buck I killed last year ran about 60 yards and piled up. He didn't make it out of the wheat field.

I've used this ammo in 308. 270. 280. 22-250. And I'm pretty sure it's what we've use in my daughter's 223.
