    Osage build

    So im working this new bow,it was a 2" longer and i piked it ,trying to get it down to 50/55#@27.5"...any other bowyers or builders see any problems with this tiller that i might be missing....another set of eyes would ve helpful im only 3" off my draw length...thanks in advance.

    I wish i had a clue because that would mean that i knew how to make one

      The last 1/3 of each limb is fairly straight. They could work a bit more. Get them working a bit and that will give you faster tip speed and give you that last 3 inches of draw without dropping a lot of weight.

          That is what I noticed too. I don't see any hinges, and it looks symmetrical... but there seems to be alot of meat at the last third of both limbs.

            If he's building a Holmegaard bow then the last third would look thicker from that angle.

            With out a grid pattern background it's difficult to judge the evenness of the tillering.

              Not a holmie...its more of a pyramid profile..i agree with the last 3rd of each limb ...probably be done by monday....thanks for looking !

                Looks good to me. It's not drawn all the way is it? I leave a lot of my bows stiff
                At the last 7 in. Just don't make the tips 3/4 in. wide. You will

                  Full draw pic...pleased with the bow..not my fastest but definately not the slowest...wife is not a photographer...lol
