UNCLE!!!!
I have officially found my limit. I shot the 25yd round with my recurve and my longbow (you can tell by the results that my longbow is my go-to bow). I got pics but cannot post them from here. It will have to wait till I get home later today. I did not hit 10 for 10 with either bow with my first attempt, or any of the many attempts after the first!
Went back to 20 and put 10 in a row with no problem. It is really amazing mow much difference 15 additional feet makes! Little mistakes that don't really show at 15 or 20 are really starting to show now!
I am bound and determined to get 10 in a row at 25 before I move back to 30!

It is very hard for me to focus on my shot and do everything right 10 times in a row. And I've already felt the pressure of accomplishing that even back a 15 yards, I don't practice but with one arrow and even when I'm at a shoot it isn't shooting same shot after shot. I'm off tomorrow so I will give it a go. I think this little challenge is awesome and will give a lot of insight into the average success rate we have as trad hunters at distances.

Well, here are my pics:
I went 7 out of 10 with my recurve.
Recurve 1st five-
Recurve 2nd five (I had a one bad flyer here)-
I went 9 out of 10 with my longbow.
Longbow 1st five-
Longbow 2nd five-
I know I can hit 10 in a row but it is not with any regularity like at 15 and 20! I will keep trying till I get it done.Last edited by Bisch; 02-15-2013, 08:52 PM.

Well I have a disclaimer for my shot: with my elbow about 1" from the fence I get 24 yds in my back yard. I did not have any paper plates, so I just used the 4" circle on the 18-1.
Shooting my 74# Longbow with my new JEFFRO specials.

I will take this shot at 25 most days.
The other day I was wanting to see how different the woodies would be from my FMJ's. This is at 20 yds, I shot one FMJ's then chased it with a wood. I have to say JEFFRO makes some really good shooting arrows.
