If I was in the gate hangin business, I would **** sure build some of those! Seems like you'd have to hang a lot of gates to make it pay off, but it's a hell of a design.

I'm thinking these could be used on anything from putting up fence boards by yourself to uneven backyard welding projects that need level surface ... adjustable sawhorse... lol

I had sent this link to my dad last week and and we both thought it was so good he spent the first part of the week in the shop and built a couple for himself. He made the feet removable and turkey foot design to transport better on the welding trailer, he said the cheapest prices on jacks were at harbor freight. I've said this before, TBH.com is a wealth of helpful information and a great support network for those in need, just another reason TBH.com has been my top internet site for over 15 years!

Coachwhip, those look great. Glad this thread was of help. Let me know if you find other good uses for them.
I'm thinking about maybe also building a modified design with wheels to be used when splitting farm tractors for clutch replacement, rear end work etc while on a concrete surface. Have a top bracket that bolts onto the front side rails. Maybe use one or two in place of regular jackstands under the back end to keep it from flipping backwards. That's only if they're built with thick enough steel and the implement jack is sized appropriately for the load.

I'll be using 4 of them for an upcoming project.
                        Good idea.
