It's so cold out here but the view is amazing! There are a bazillion stars in the sky and the wind is perfect. I have so many layers I can hardly sit but at least my teeth aren't chattering and I won't scare the deers away. Lol

Now we wait for daybreak!

4hrs in a tree w/high winds & rain, I'd say you did a dang fine job!

That's what I was thinking.I'd have been drinkin' beer,and lighting the smoker.She went about 3hrs,and 30mins longer than me. Good luck!

One thing I learned years ago was:
The clothes we buy here in TX to keep us warm during "OUR" winter will not keep you warm up north. First time I hunted in Kentucky I froze to death and only made it to 8 am. Went to town and bought new hunting clothes right then.
