    Brain surgery prayers needed

Well my beautiful wife is having brain surgery today, intracranial ablation. And we could use all the prayers we can get. She has suffered from epilepsy for 20 of her 31 years. This is her second brain surgery this year and hopefully the cure all. They are basically drilling a hole in her heard inserting a catheter into her brain and running a laser down the catheter to burn out the spots on her brain where the siezures are starting. There are obvious risks of damaging something they don't intend to that could disable her permanently. But the chance of being siezure free far outweighs the risks. She is the strongest most courageous person I've ever seen and as selfless as they come. We've seen and switched doctors a lot and drove many miles to specialist, in search of a cure. There was a bunch of doctors that just wanted to write another prescription and not try to find a cure. Finally found a doctor that referred us to UT medical center down here in San Antonio. This group of doctors has done an amazing job of trying to cure her, and I think they are on the right track. With God's blessings and the docs skills we might get this whipped. So if y'all wouldn't mind sending a prayer or two up for my bride it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Dave

Had a buddy go through this about 10 years ago, spent the nights at the hospital with him while they were pinpointing what was causing his epilepsy. Since his surgery he has had to rely on meds. Just recently he was taken off all but one med and is now taking a very small dose of it. It's amazing what they can do to help epilepsy these days. All the best to your wife and family going through this. Prayers for the doctors and nurses as well as for your wife's speedy recovery.

Lifting up your wife, family and doctors in prayer right now! I pray for a successful surgery, quick recovery, wisdom for the medical staff and peace for all the family that is worried about her right now. I pray that God's will be done and that He would be glorified through this somehow.

Does she shoot the bow? I'm asking because I helped a gal get back into archery after brain surgery literally took all her previous archery expertise away.

If she does, and needs any help after the surgery, just pm me - I'll provide any requested assistance at no charge.
