Last year I think I did a poor job of keeping my TBH family informed on fishing reports and our family outings. Gonna try to do better this year.
Not a bad late afternoon of fishing, relaxing and eating good food with the wife. She’s been asking me to take her bull red fishing for a good while so today we made it happen. She hadn’t caught a bull red in many many years. We only got one but either way the mission was accomplished.
40” bull red with no spots. Released
Fished the Port A south jetty.
Bait was cut perch.
If anyone wants a really good place to eat in Port A we had dinner at Mac Daddys. The Mac Daddy burger (brisket, beef patty, fried jalapeños, fried onion, pepper jack cheese, cole slow and bbq sauce) and fried chicken were awesome. Oh and the cobblers were also awesome. [emoji16]
