Grandpa's Hunting Trip

I was able to spend a couple of days hunting our family land with my Grandpa over the Thanksgiving holiday. He has Parkinsons so moving around is difficult for him. We drive him right up to his stand, and pick him up after. Well, he's still knocking them down! He got him a couple of 8-points! I will always remember these trips with him.

Dang look at him smiling! That is so cool to see him still able to hunt like that. Wow I hope when I'm old that someone takes me hunting like y'all do. That is special right there. Rock on Grandpa. You got yourself a couple nice bucks. That is impressive.

He's worn it for over 40 years! He's told me 3 times when a hard hat saved his life, so he used to wear them all the time! He even has a cowboy hat one

Thanks guys! He's always had a passion for hunting, he's field dressed deer for us, helped to teach us all how to gut, skin, quarter, and process our deer. So now, all he has to do is pull the trigger and point with his cane to tell us grand kids what to do. He's the best. He's still after one of the big axis on our place, let's hope one makes a slip
