Axis feed?

I'm trying to attract axis, they don't come in to my corn feeder. My issue is there is cattle on the property. So I don't want to put anything inside my feed pen that will have them tearing down my fence to get to the feed. Two days ago I put a mineral block and a 50lb alfalfa 20' outside my pen. I also set up a camera to see what comes in. I know the cattle will but, I'm hoping the axis will come in for the alfalfa and mineral block and get a whiff of the corn. Is there something other than corn that I could put inside pen to attract the axis that won't attract the cattle? Any suggestions?

nothing I know of you can use that does not attract cattle. You might try rice bran

alfalfa is the best axis attractant I've used so far. I'd just stick with that

Build stronger fence. I use hog panels and the cows don't get in. after that just throw Alaflfa bales in pen and boom!
