Change of plans, bought me an insulated deerview door from a TBH and gonna carpet the inside black. Also made the stencils to camo it out. If you are going to do it, do it right.

I did the same with the metal studs but put on plastic cardboard sheet in (same stuff as political signs) rather than plywood to keep the weight down. A year later, no leaks and I used sheet insulation to keel heat in/out. Deer view door and Windows... Good build!

What is the price comparison between metal framing and lumber?

Metal is about the same price, maybe a hair more. Moving along and almost done, ready to haul to the lease and put it on the tower.
