    60lb Grizzly, first shots. (video)

Ok, you all asked for it. I'm not in the ER.... yet, although that might be the adrenaline keeping the pain at bay. Arrows are coming off tail high so I need to move the nocking points a bit (tail high=move nocking points up yes?).

Enjoy. Oh and Daniel that string really is stupid quiet.

You made it look easy!! And that was good for the first 2 shots from a new bow!! I'm impressed.

          Looks good to me too.

Tail high means nock point high, so move the nocking points down,
UNLESS, the tail high is the result of the fletching slamming the shelf giving a false reading. In which case you would move the nocking points up.

As quiet as the bow sounds during the shot, I don't believe the later to be the case.

              That bow sounds great!

If you keep shooting that thing you'll be able to crack walnuts between your two shoulder blades.

So how many more times have you shot it? I know you didn't stop at 2!!

                      Made it look easy!

Hoping I can say that when my 65lb & 75lb limbs arrive in a month or so!

Thanks folks! I went back and added a Velcro strike plate to it just to preserve the wood until my leather "period correct" one arrives and moved the nocking points up a bit. Arrow flight is no longer nock high. I'm not going to do anything other than shoot it for a while to get the string to stretch. Right now though with the BH at 8.75" it shoots well.

You are correct CRM that I didn't stop with two shots. I ran another couple through it over the course of the rest of usable daylight.

Thanks! Brother you do some darn fine work. As quiet as this one is I'm regretting not getting the extra to cat whisker silencers on the others.
