          Thanks to the vitals on 3-d targets I've always shot further back than the nuckle ~1" & 1/3 way up, resulting in some sometimes lengthy blood trails.

          dumb question but I'll ask: what is the knuckle? can you mark it on the diagram?

              Lot's of folk's call the elbow the knuckle.
