Scimitar horned oryx or Red stag?

I have a hunt coming up in a couple months and I have to decide which one I wanna shoot. I obviously want the mount but I want the meat just as much. So what say y'all? Which one and why? Which meat is better?

Red Stag all the way brother. Obviously I'd be down to get either one but one of my "before I die" hunts is a Red Stag.

I'd give the oryx the edge slightly in the meat department. But red stag is almost as good. Both are good to have in the freezer.

Shoot the Oryx. Their herds need the money more.

Oryx all day long. Beautiful trophy on the wall and some of the best meat to be had.

I would go oryx. Fantastic meat and a fairly unique trophy. Nothing wrong with eating a stag. Very comparable to elk in my opinion.

See lots of Red Deer. Get the Scimitar before they pull that crap they did not to long ago. You can always go find a Red Deer.

I'd do oryx because they're harder to come by than a red stag. At least that's what I have found from my small bit of research. To me, a red stag is more of a New Zealand adventure type hunt, whereas an oryx is cool no matter what.
