So far I have only shot a rabbit. I shot a doe this past December, but didn't find her

I don't get to hunt much these days, but do ALOT of shooting.

My first animal with a stick was a big white crane in 1963. I kept stalking it and just as I would draw, it would fly. After about three attempts I shot as it lifted off and drilled it dead center. After taking a severe ***** thrashing from my Dad I settled into rabbits and such for the next few years. I finally killed my first deer, a four point, in 1967, after missing six shots that year. I killed him on the last day of gun season. I wasn't all that good but I was tenacious.

Aside from gobs and gobs of snakes, my only real kill from a stand so far has been a coon. I do count it as a real kill though because I plugged him right between the eyes from 20yds out, and 20ft up.
