I really don't know what I am doing. That is why I have had to go back a few times and redo some things, kinda like having to take off the vertical facing to widen them so I could do side facing.

It is coming along though.

Fence board creativity

Here are some pictures you requested; the entry way shows what the living room wainescoat is like, but the living room has furniture covering most of it.

Entry way, both sides




The curio corner cabinet is in the dining room, which will soon be made-over to match the living room. You can see the old wainescoat/ chair rail that will be removed. When we bought the house the entire entry way and living room was all dark wood paneling and it had no lights. Before we moved in, my husband (Rifle on here) painted the walls, put up the fence board wainescoat and installed a light.

He basically made this out of scrap plywood and ran out of the one type, so it's not totally matching, but I like the character. It's like our marriage at times. We don't always agree but together we're pretty cool! The inside shelves are all fence board.

Did a little bit of work on this yesterday as well as built my daughter a loft bed in her room. Will try to get some more pics up tonight

Here is what I worked on yesterday. Will have built in shelves on either side of the tv. Then then boards will running perpendicular to the shelves behind the tv.

Gonna go take pics of my daughter's bed that I started yesterday also.

Was doing some thinking(i know, scary). Anyway, I am doing built in shelves on both sides of the TV, same size as what you can see from the one on the left in the above picture. How about if I did a built in gun cabinet in one of them??
