My PawPaw is trying to find one of his friends he worked with in the oilfield. He has made contact with all the guys in this picture over the years except him. The other guys he made contact with were able to share many stories and continued their friendships. Unfortunately they have all passed on except my PawPaw.
PawPaw is trying to figure out the second guy from the right in photos first name, where he lives, as well as if he is still alive. He was a floor hand with my PawPaw while they were working around the Stockdale area. They worked together sometime around 1956 for Sutton Drilling Co. on Rig #6.
My PawPaw knows his nickname was 'Bedpost' and believes his last name was Smith. They also called him Smitty.
They've searched the internet with no luck and asked other oilfield friends.
With as many TBHers are from south central Texas maybe someone will recognize his picture.
