I'll let u know. I'm gonna look at few more trucks in the next few days and decide by next week.
I drove a new Silverado too. Very nice riding truck.

You need good mud traction, possible decent snow traction and definitely good sidewalls. You may get some winter driving conditions in Oct and rocks can be rough on less than 8-10 ply tires.
Way out in the BLM or up back on a rough 2 track in the forest is no place for a blowout or two.
Also have a shovel in the truck for digging out of a snow drift.
Some roads are just fine, like county gravel roads.
Some are rutted up , exposed bedrock, loose large stones and deep mud puddles. You'll have a few new squeaks when you get home.

MacHaik has 2019 XLT 4x4’s for $14,000 off. You can usually get $2k to $3k off of that.

yeah as mentioned not that great. Just looks like an XLT. When I bought mine I paid less than that for a nicer model halfway through the year it was made

Make them throw on a set of good tires and a grill guard or rear replacement and call it a deal.

When you drive it off the lot, you then have a 1, almost 2, year old truck, so resale is based on that. Still, if you keep it for a long time, that doesn't matter if you get a good deal. I haven't priced new ones since 2014, so I am no help.

No it’s a ford. I know I just opened a can of worms but the 3.5 is a dog
