One heck of a week...

Killed my biggest buck of my life in Ohio this week. Hunt was on a 1
Approx 1200 acre high fence ranch with a rifle. Have never hunted Ohio and have always wanted to. I have hunted south Texas, north Texas, west Texas and the Hillcountry and Kanasas. Both high fence and Low fence and have experienced some amazing hunts. This hunt is by far one of the most memorable and challenging.

That's a dang beast!

This buck came Bustin over a ridge to some rattling horns. He was moving fast through the timber and stopped behind a tree. I knew the gig was up and Jackie tickled the horns one more time and he stepped forward ready to bolt. From the time I saw him to the time I shot was 10-15 seconds. Thank goodness . I knew he was big but had no idea. If I would have known I would have probably choked.
