Default Anyone use Tinks smoking sticks or similar?

I always make a pass down the isle while in academy. I noticed deer scented incense sticks by tinks. There was a doe in heat and an all around scent. Basically you light it and it burns for up to 2hrs. Comes with 6 to a pack I think. Seem like it would be amazing insurance down wind. Smoke travels really far. Has anyone used them?

see the "smoking your clothes" thread ha ha ha. I'm a believer in smoke as a cover scent. Not sure about an attractant though.

Let me explain.

1. He's calling you a newbie.

2. Without punctuation he's telling you the Tniks boycott thing has been going on since mid-late 2000s or old days. Well not the true olde days of this site but still.

Nobody has mentioned that the POS(tink) publicly posted being glad that a prominent tbh member had passed away. This member was very vocal in outing him for what he really is.

I'm sure the past threads have been deleted. Several people on here can tell you about what he did.

I would not spend a penny on any product with his name on it.

Ok let’s try this again! Lol. Now that I’m sold on never buying a tinks product again.......

There is a company called “Deer Sense”. They make an in-scents that you burn and it is supposed to work as a cover scent and attractant. What do y’all think about it????

I think it’s all about conditioning the deer. If you just try a new scent in your hunting area the deer may freak out. If every time you visit you burn it for a bit and leave the stick near your blind they will get familiar with the scent and should work well as a cover. I have had good success using cover scents this way. I prefer to put the scent upwind of myself to blow through me to the deer. It seems to work well.

Didn't he also try to hijack a Bownanza one year with his "charity" and park or drive his pimped-out Suburban through the middle of the food tents?

I've never used them myself, but I've seen them used by another hunter. They literally do smoke. It's not a lot of smoke, but it is visible. I'm not sure how good it works. If you buy some please let us know.

Deer sense has been around for years, have used them with varying success. Make yourself a bucket with holes to cover them with or put them in and the sticks burn longer.
They will smell kind of funky if you just sniff but using both sticks together like advised works well.
I used them on a Nebraska hunt many years ago and had deer come in to investigate.

Holy cow didn't know about Tinks but glad I do now.
