Lunch with my Warrior Son & Grandsons!

FIRST time since last August we have seen Jake and my wife and I have spent time with our Warrior Son since he returned from Iraq!

After lunch we gave him his "Welcome Home" present from us and his 2 brothers. A Glock 23 with a Special Texas Flag/Star cerakote customize!

He was shocked and so happy....A great day to finally be able to give them all a big hug and thank God he is home.....

A BIG thanks to the GS for following my previous threads...this was a Blessed Day for our family!

Thanks all....I embarrassed him today when they walked into the eatery here in Granbury. Gave him a big ole' hug with some Dad tears and said "Welcome home Soldier." They got in late last night from Fort Polk so this was the first time in person.

He later told me to not make it a bigger thing than it was....humility and not a bragger....guess that's my job as a Dad! They are at his wife's home tonight, but tomorrow we are spending the day and I'm going to show him the GS posts just to let him know there are those who care what ALL our warriors sacrifice.
