Please ideas for a wolf mount? Feeling kinda weird about it.

So on my bear hunt I just did in Alaska, I had the opportunity that take a wolf also. I’ve never had an interest in taking a wolf, the chance just popped up and my guide was pretty psyched. He said it’s rare to get chances at them. So...
1) The thing reminds me of my old Shepard and I feel weird about it for some reason.
2) I don’t have a lot of trophy room left so I was planning to just keep the pelt. My taxi says that wolfs are rare, May soon be banned, and I should consider a mount. But he’ll do whatever I want.
3) Thinking about something like this in the spots I circled in my office. Just want to get y’alls opinions. My wife also thinks our dogs will flip out if I get this

I would love to take a Wolf so congrats on getting a rare trophy.
If it was me I would do a skull in rug. Mounted setting like that it really looks like a big dog.

A mount looks like a big dog to me too, unless he has his mouth open with fangs, then he looks like a wolf.

Idk why you taxi would say hunting them may be outlawed. Most states are adding them to the management list since they are so over populated. Did you try any of the meat?

I would do it standing, head down eyes looking up. Otherwise rug.

If I was going to have a wolf full body mount, I'd make sure it was going to a good taxidermist.

I would do a different face (like howling or snarling), but like that it is high on the wall.

The original pic looks and will remind you of your Shepard IMO.
