    Steaks on a disc

Curious if anyone has tried steaks on their disc. Did you like it or not? How hot and how good and tender did the steaks come out? If it was a fail please advise as well.

I've done t-bones on my disc. I seasoned and cooked onions and mushrooms first then scooted them to the outer edge of the disc when they were almost the way I like my onions. After that the steaks go on and after the first flip the onions and mushrooms went on top of the steaks until ready to come off. I cooked them a little too long but they were still tasty. I tend to do the same thing if I am cooking a steak in cast iron though.

I have done ribeyes this way. I let the disc heat up on high heat for a few minutes, oiled it a little and put them on. Seared them 3-4 minutes per side and covered the whole thing with foil for the last couple of minutes on the second side. Worked great.
